Ever since Plugged Not Thugged agreed to become the official sponsor of BASSMENTALITY, Zed's Dead and Killabits' insanely popular-bi-weekly in Toronto, I have been exposed to dubstep regularly and have become more and more fond of dubstep and heavy bass music as a result. While stomping out rib-rattling bass lines is almost exclusively Billionaire's job, I just can't help but post Sub Focus' remix of Rusko's overly laid-back dubstep song Hold On with Amber Coffman. While the original didn't really tickle my knickers, the remix by Sub Focus definitely did. Just love the contrast that goes on before and after the one minute mark - from a soft and non-threatening female voice in song to an unrelenting fury of lazer bass-chainsaws ripping through your face and skull. Hella gnarly track.
